Who am I? Find Out! by Andrew Moreland

Hey everyone reading this! My name is Andrew or Drew (I don’t have a preference) Moreland and I will be a junior at Cheltenham High School this coming school year.  To start with some things about me; I’m 16 years old and have a twin sister named Zoe. We have a dog, a Golden Doodle named Cooper and a cat named Ollie. One of the biggest things in my life currently is playing soccer for Penn Alliance Soccer Club and for school.  I also run both indoor and outdoor track for my school, in mid distance sprints (400m and 200m). I play the cello and have been for about 5 years now, and I’m in my school’s select chamber orchestra. This coming school year I’m also going to audition for the area’s district orchestra, which pullls players from counties in the area which I would really like to do.  One of my favorite things to do to pass time is playing video games with my friends on Xbox, which is fun (most of the time).

​Talking more specifically about soccer, I have been playing for about 10 or 11 years (I can’t remember exactly now), and it is one of the most important things in my life.  Something that is really cool is that I have been playing with some of my current teammates since I started playing or at least near the start of my playing years. It is one of the best ways to meet more people and make new friends.  Another goal of mine is to possibly get the chance to play soccer in college, at any level it has always been one of my aspirations and if I got the opportunity it would be amazing. But for now I’m playing for my club team and my school’s varsity team, which I have been on since I was a freshman.  I hope this little blog was helpful in learning more about who I am and who I want to be.
