Hey everyone! My name is Rachel Glantzberg, and I come from the Academy of Allied Health and Science in Neptune, NJ. In school, I am the president of our Key Club and PERIOD club, a field hockey player, and member of our science club. Outside of school, I serve in my town's EMS Cadet Corps, volunteer at a horse therapy center, coordinate a coalition called "Equality Period., NJ", work at Six Flags, and am a research assistant for a computational biology lab. I love being busy and engaging in work surrounding the menstrual movement and medicine! ![]() I am so excited to be involved with TRIP to improve on my lab-based research skills. As soon as I heard about TRIP, I was really interested in the opportunity to begin my own research project. I think working with flies will be a challenge, but a rewarding challenge nonetheless! For a little bit more about me, I love to run (right now I'm training for a 10k), sing in the shower (I am a HUGE Swiftie), eat (it's truly a passion -- HipCityVeg in Philly is one of my favorite places to eat), and roam around cities like a main character (I am a city girl stuck in a suburban world).
