Lil Bit About Me! by Ally Yu

Hi!  My name is Ally Yu.  I go to Wilson High School which is just outside the  Reading area, so I live a good distance from Temple. In my freetime I like to take my puppy, Benji, on walks and hang out with friends and family.    I play tennis on my high school's team and I will be a co-captain this upcoming school year (Ah, it’s weird to think I’m a senior). I am also a total foodie and will admit yelp is probably one of my most used apps.  I love to travel and learn about different cultures; my dream destination would probably be Spain. I enjoy art and design and something I would love to do would be to design a tiny-home. I am just amazed at how much you can compact in so little small space.  I also take part in the Fashion and Design event for the Technology Student Association (TSA) and had the opportunity to design different clothing pieces following the year’s theme.

​In the future...well, I am not exactly sure what career I want to go into, however, I am really interested in going into a field of science or possibly blend science and design/art into a career. I am so excited to be apart of TRIP and experience the process of research in a lab-setting.  One week of TRIP is already done and it is crazy how much we have learned. I look forward to the weeks to come!
