Here I go!! by Leslie Lopez

All right, so HI I'm Leslie and I hail from William Tennent HS where I'm a junior. A little bit about myself: I speak Spanish fluently and I've been learning French for the past few years. I LOVE to read fantasy and sci-fi books (esp. dystopian), especially in the summer out on the patio. Pop and EDM are my go-to music. Also, I recently started playing tennis during the summer and fall. Most of all, I like to challenge myself academically, mostly because I love to learn and I see the value in education.
Thinking about the future after high school is scary, but I definitely want to pursue a career in the science field. I'm thinking somewhere along the lines of environmental science or astronomy, or maybe even pre-med... I'm still trying to find my way. Who knows, the TRIP experience could just be the turning point. Still, the opportunity to even be part of a community that shares a common passion is overwhelming and it’s amazing to be working alongside invested, hard-working students.
