Hi! My name is Ishani Ranjan, and I am a rising junior at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North. I am so excited to become a part of the TRIP family, and can’t wait to learn so many new things through such cool experiences in a lab. I hope to pursue a career in the biomedical field in the future. Nevertheless, I love science and any experiences in a lab!
Aside from school and TRIP, I enjoy being a member of multiple clubs in my school. I am a part of my school’s Future Problem Solving Team, Model UN Team, and Red Cross club. I also volunteer at my local hospital, which I truly enjoy as way to relax and meet new people. I also love learning Spanish, and next year will be my eleventh year of taking the class in school. I love traveling, photography, and listening to music as well. Some of my favorite places to travel have been Spain, Germany, and Russia! Some of my favorite genres of music include Pop, Reggaeton, and Classical.
I am always down for trying new things and learning through a different lens. Through the TRIP initiative, I am learning so much about science and fruit flies, but I am also learning so much about myself as well!
