2024 PROGRAM AT WILLIAM TENNENT
COURSE DATES:
The 2023 TRIP program starts on Saturday, February 18th and runs through Saturday, April 29th (11 consecutive weeks). After the in-lab portion of the course concludes, students present their work at a scientific symposium on Saturday, May 13th.
SESSIONS:
Two sessions of the program will be offered where Session A meets from 8:30 am-12:30 pm and Session B is from 1:30-5:30 pm. Up to 8 students will be enrolled in each session. All classes will be held at William Tennent High School in Warminster, PA.
WILL THE PROGRAM MEET IN-PERSON, ONLINE, OR SOME MIX OF THE TWO?
Currently, the plan is to host an in-person program at William Tennent High School in Warminster, PA. We are committed to holding TRIP in a way that maximizes the safety of all participants and is in line with current Pennsylvania and Centennial School District guidelines. If conditions change, we will adapt a hybrid or virtual program.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:
High school students currently enrolled in grade 9-12 are eligible to apply to TRIP.
Completion of at least one high school Biology or Chemistry course is preferred, but not required.
Students must commit to attend ALL days of the program (including the all-day symposium) in either Session A or B.
Parents/Guardians must confirm and agree to the attendance policy.
Please note: the course runs through Spring Break, Easter, and SAT and ACT test dates.
