The Teen Research Internship Program sponsored by Johnson & Johnson (TRIPxJ&J) at Fox Chase Cancer Center offers high school students hands-on experiential learning in science and medicine. TRIPxJ&J is designed for motivated students eager to explore these fields while developing resilience, communication, and critical thinking skills outside the traditional classroom

TRIPxJ&J is divided into three phases: Project Design, Experimentation, and Communication.

Beyond the Lab
PROGRAM DETAILS:
TRIPxJ&J 2026 runs every Tuesday & Saturday from September 8th to November 7th at Fox Chase Cancer Center (333 Cottman Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19111).
Students who successfully complete the program will receive a stipend of $1300 (about 15/hour for lab and prep time).
- Session A: Tuesdays, 4 pm-7:45 pm
- Session B: Saturdays, 8:30 am-12:15 pm

Who is eligible to apply to TRIP?

APPLICATION REVIEW TIMELINE
Applications and transcripts will be reviewed by a panel of program staff in June. Candidate interviews will be held in early July. Final decisions will be made by early August.
